Everton have no intention of allowing Jordan Pickford to leave in the upcoming summer window, viewing him as central to their long-term project.

At 31, he remains the clear first-choice goalkeeper for David Moyes at club level and Thomas Tuchel with England, underlining his importance once again at the weekend.
Pickford produced a stunning late save to deny Sandro Tonali’s powerful volley, preserving a vital victory that lifted Everton to eighth in the Premier League standings.
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown has since stated there is “no way” the club would consider offers for their goalkeeper any time soon.
Although several teams are expected to enter the market for a new number one this summer, Pickford is not seen as a realistic target. Everton made their stance clear last year by opting against signing another goalkeeper, reinforcing his position as undisputed starter.
The England international has also committed his future to the club, signing a new contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium that keeps him tied to the Toffees until 2029.
