Dallin Leavitt, a former standout player for the Oregon prep team, has committed to the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos revealed last week that the safety and former standout player from Westview High School had joined their practice squad. Following his release by the Green Bay Packers earlier this month, Leavitt inked a contract with the Broncos.
In 2023, Leavitt, who was in his sixth season, had 10 appearances for the Packers, mostly on special teams. In 2022, Leavitt played in every one of the Packers’ 17 games.
In 2018, Leavitt signed as an undrafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders. In 16 games with the Raiders in 2021, he recorded 35 total tackles and two fumble recoveries, leading to the finest season of his career.
