Chelsea may face disappointment in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen this summer, despite their strong interest in signing the Napoli striker.
According to Florian Plettenberg via Sky Sports, Osimhen is determined to leave Napoli and is pushing for a transfer before the window closes. However, he has made it clear to Napoli and his representatives that his preferred destination is PSG. While the French giants are interested, they already have costly attacking options in Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos, which complicates a potential move.
In the Premier League, Arsenal have made inquiries about Osimhen, and Chelsea have initiated talks with his agent. Chelsea’s new manager, Enzo Maresca, is keen on bringing the forward to Stamford Bridge. However, Osimhen is reportedly holding out for a move to PSG, leaving Chelsea with the significant challenges of securing funds, convincing Napoli to accept their bid, and persuading the player to choose them over PSG.
Noni Madueke’s Future:
Noni Madueke is reportedly eager to stay and fight for a starting role at Chelsea. However, with Pedro Neto joining and João Félix potentially arriving, the club may consider selling either Madueke or Raheem Sterling to raise funds. Offers exceeding €33 million for Madueke are expected to be entertained.
Axel Disasi Considering Exit:
Axel Disasi is evaluating his future at Chelsea after falling down the pecking order. Despite joining from Monaco last summer, he is currently behind Levi Colwill, Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana, and Benoit Badiashile in Chelsea’s center-back hierarchy. French and Italian clubs are said to be interested in the defender.
