Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Davante Adams added another highlight to their storied partnership in the NFL on Sunday.
During the third quarter of the New York Jets’ road game against the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Rodgers connected with Adams for a three-yard touchdown pass, giving the Jets the lead.
The former Packers duo, now reunited as key players for the Jets, reached a milestone in Week 14. Rodgers and Adams had previously played together in Green Bay from 2014 to 2021, before Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022. In 2024, the Raiders sent Adams to the Jets, joining Rodgers, who had been traded to New York in 2023.
Despite their notable achievement, Rodgers and Adams couldn’t secure a win for the Jets, who fell 32-26 to the Dolphins in overtime. The Jets, now out of playoff contention, dropped to 3-10 and will face the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road at EverBank Stadium in Week 15.
