The Phoenix Suns have signed Jaden Shackelford to an Exhibit 10 deal, reports Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
The Valley Suns recently traded away a first-round draft pick for Shackelford, and now he will get his shot, joining the team in training camp
The Phoenix Suns have agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Jaden Shackelford, league sources told @hoopshype. Shackelford spent the past two seasons with the OKC Blue in the G League where he averaged 14 points per game and helped the team win the 2024 G League championship.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary agreement that is not guaranteed. It can also include an optional bonus of up to $75,000 that will be rewarded if a player (after he’s waived) spends at least 60 days with a team’s G League affiliate.

The Valley Suns acquired the rights to Mamadi Diakite in a trade with the Westchester Knicks last Friday. He was also signed to an Exhibit 10 contract and will be in training camp along with Shackelford.
The Suns roster appears to be set entering training camp. We are just 17 days away from their first preseason game and training camp is right around the corner.
The Suns have done a nice job filling out the back end of their roster and building their G League affiliate with some fringe NBA talent.
