NEWS REPORT: Miami Dolphins Shift Tone On Tyreek Hill’s Availability Hours Before Cowboys Game

The Miami Dolphins changed their tune Saturday night regarding the status of Tyreek Hill for their game against the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Eve.

The Dolphins listed Hill as questionable to play against the Cowboys in their injury report Friday after a video surfaced on social media showing Hill limping during practice.With Hill’s permission, the Dolphins kept the star wide receiver and NFL MVP candidate out of their Week 15 game against the New York Jets. The Dolphins wanted to take precautions to ensure Hill didn’t injure his ankle further a month before the playoffs. The Dolphins’ philosophy of sitting Hill out for precautionary reasons appears to have changed in Week 16. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, like last week, the Dolphins will make sure Hill is eligible to play before to be on their inactive list. But the Dolphins are optimistic about his ability to play against the Cowboys. Video released Friday shows Hill’s ankle has not returned to normal. But the Dolphins are more willing to risk injuries against a playoff contender like the Cowboys than against the lowly Jets.Is Hill’s ankle really better? Or do the Dolphins view Sunday’s game as a must-win game to win the AFC East and advance in the playoffs against a tougher opponent where Hill can be the difference?
