The Miami Dolphins are 10-4 and on the verge of winning their first AFC East championship since 2008.With three games remaining, Miami holds a two-game lead over the second-place Buffalo Bills.

Miami’s run to the playoffs is a foregone conclusion at this point, so it’s no surprise that the Dolphins want to add some depth and playoff experience. On Tuesday, the team hosted five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for a visit, as first reported by ESPN’s Field Yates. After a standout college career with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, where Suh finished fourth in Heisman Award voting in 2009, the Detroit Lions selected him second overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. He spent the first five seasons of his career in Detroit, where he won the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award in 2010 and was named First Team All-Pro three times (2010, 2013, 2014).In March 2015, the Miami Dolphins signed Suh to a six-year, $114 million contract, at the time the richest contract in NFL history for a defensive player. He spent three years in Miami before being released in March 2018 to free up space. After one season with the Los Angeles Rams, Suh signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and was a member of the Super Bowl LV championship team.He remained with the Rams through the 2021 season and was out of contract until November 2022, when the Philadelphia Eagles acquired him for their playoff campaign, just as the Dolphins appear to want to do this season.
