The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers released their second injury report ahead of Week 15.
The biggest news today in Arizona was the return of Marquise Brown after missing yesterday’s practice due to a heel injury. He was the only Cardinals player to experience a status change. Brown also did not participate in Monday’s “bonus” practice. He has played in all 13 games this season, but has been a constant on the injury report. The only other player marked DNP is Geoff Swaim, who missed his second straight day.The Cardinals saw Michael Wilson return to action after missing the last three weeks with a shoulder injury. He also participated on Monday and with two “official” training sessions under his belt the trend is growing for Sunday. Trent Williams was the only 49er to sit out this week, and he returned to practice Thursday. The same goes for Ambry Thomas, who was absent Wednesday for personal reasons. Aaron Banks was added due to a hip injury, while Elijah Mitchell was moved from Limited to DNP due to his knee injury. The Cardinals are coming off a bye in Week 14 after their third win of the season, while the 49ers have won their last five games heading into their matchup at State Farm Stadium.San Francisco entered the game as a 13.5-point favorite, marking its largest lead in Week 15. The 49ers can secure the NFC West with a win against Arizona. They are the only team in the NFL to have already secured a playoff berth. Both teams will train one more time this week before official match statuses as Doubtful, Away and Doubtful are displayed for Saturday.Official inactives will then be released 90 minutes before kickoff in Glendale, which is currently set for 2:05 p.m. Arizona time.
