Cleveland Browns continue to battle injuries on their quest for a postseason berth. With a number of offensive starters out or the season already, now it’s the defense dealing with uncertainty with a few key positions.
As Cleveland wrapped up the week of practice ahead of its matchup with the Denver Broncos, the team listed veteran linebacker Anthony Walker as questionable. Walker has been battling a hamstring ailment, suffered in last week’s win over the Steelers.
Meanwhile, after missing the Steelers game with a calf injury, safety Juan Thornhill joins Walker with a questionable status. The former Chief sustained his injury against the Ravens in Week 10.
Thornhill’s potential absence looms particularly large considering that Pro Bowl cornerback Denzel Ward has already been ruled out for Sunday. Ward is dealing with a shoulder injury at the moment and could miss multiple weeks of action.
