Winning streak: Phoenix Suns defeat Portland Trail Blazers 120-107

The Phoenix Suns defeated the Portland Trail Blazers by double digits following a difficult second quarter that left the game close at halftime.

The Suns won for the fourth time in a row, and while the Utah Jazz lost to the Los Angeles Lakers, they moved up to second position in West Group A of the In-Season Tournament.

Naturally, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant were spearheading Phoenix’s scoring attack.

Booker scored 28 points on 20 shots, while Durant scored 31 points on 21.

Not long behind was Jusuf Nurkic as well. Nurkic scored 18 points for the second consecutive game on a 7–10 shooting effort. He pulled down 12 rebounds as well.

In his debut matchup with his old squad, he performed this.

Deandre Ayton scored just four points in the second half for the Trail Blazers, after leading them to 14 points in the first. He finished the game with an impressive -33.

The Suns’ field goal percentage was 56.6% while the Trail Blazers’ was 43.7%.

Despite shooting a season-low 17 three-pointers, Phoenix was able to totally dominate Portland near the basket, scoring 66 points in the paint.

Next up for the Suns is a meeting with the Golden State Warriors tomorrow night. The tipoff for this matchup will be at 8:00 p.m.
