The Phoenix Suns have released their preliminary injury report for their crucial game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night. Phoenix needs to win to have any chance of making the postseason.
Yuta Watanabe (left quad contusion) – Out
Bradley Beal (low back strain) – Out
Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery) – Out
Watanabe missed his first game of the season due to a quad injury suffered on the team’s off-day on Saturday. He supposedly suffered the knock while scrimmaging against other players. Beal is still out as the team sidelined him last week in hopes of fully recovering his back injury, which we found more info on today thanks to NBA insider Shams Charania:
Lee tore his meniscus during training camp and had successful surgery before preseason play began.
While the Blazers have dropped their last seven games, the Suns are riding high thanks to their first three-game winning streak of the season. The Suns have an 85.5% chance of winning according to ESPN’s power basketball rating.
The first tip is scheduled for Arizona time at 7:00 p.m.
For Portland, Scoot Henderson, Anfernee Simons, Robert Williams III and Ish Wainright are all out.
