Las Vegas, NV — For the first time in 21 years, the WNBA has a back-to-back champion—and it’s none other than the Las Vegas Aces.
After winning their first title in 2022, the Aces defended their crown in 2023, defeating the New York Liberty in a thrilling Finals series that showcased star power, grit, and championship DNA. The last team to repeat was the Los Angeles Sparks in 2001–2002, and many doubted it could happen again in today’s ultra-competitive league.
But with a roster that includes A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, and Jackie Young, and a fiery head coach in Becky Hammon, the Aces have established themselves as the league’s most dominant force. Wilson, in particular, was named Finals MVP in 2023, after averaging over 23 points and 11 rebounds in the series.
With two titles in two years and much of the core under contract, Las Vegas isn’t just winning—they’re building a dynasty.
