Our Week 11 NFL injury report is now live with some really bad news relating to Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. He’s now out for the season due to a shoulder injury.
Remaining at quarterback, Justin Fields will take over under center for the Bears in Week 11 after missing the past four games due to a finger injury. Meanwhile, the status of Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is up in the air after missing the past five games.
Watson will go on injured reserve with a broken bone in his throwing shoulder and a high-ankle sprain. The embattled QB had been dealing with the shoulder injury since all the way back in Week 3. He’s now lost for the year in yet another setback for a player who started 12 games in his first two seasons with Cleveland. Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start in his stead over veteran P.J. Walker for a 6-3 Browns squad moving forward.
Stafford missed Los Angeles’ Week 9 outing with a right thumb injury before the team’s bye last week. Rams head coach Sean McVay noted earlier in the week that Stafford is practicing on the side and that he should be good to go for Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks. If Stafford can’t go, the recently signed Carson Wentz might see reps. In addition to his injury, Stafford has struggled this season
