Deal Agreed: Rangers winger Agreed four year contract Extension and £20m-A-week….

Rangers winger Ross McCausland has been offered a new four-year deal amid interest from clubs in England and Europe.

That’s according to Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph, who made the claim on X amid much speculation surrounding the future of the Northern Irish youth international.

The journalist claims that there is a new four-year deal on the table for Ross McCausland as Rangers look to tie the youngster down until 2027.

“Rangers have offered winger Ross McCausland a new deal until the summer of 2027,” said Joseph.

“The 20-year-old, who made his first start for the Gers today, is out of contract next summer and has been attracting interest from clubs in England and across Europe.

Ross McCausland, 20, has burst onto the scene at Ibrox in recent weeks and was rewarded for a string of impressive cameos with a first start for Rangers in the win over Livingston.

Heavily involved in the match, Ross McCausland won a penalty in the game and had a goal disallowed by VAR in an eventful afternoon in East Lothian.

After the 2-0 victory, Rangers captain James Tavernier would then take to social media to congratulate McCausland who the Ibrox skipper branded the game’s MOTM.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement would also praise Ross McCausland after the win but insists the youngster needs to keep working hard to continue his progress.

Rangers fans always love to see a youth player come through at the club and given the direct, fearless attacking dimension McCausland boasts there is added excitement.

A pacey, troublesome winger who can use both feet, if Ross McCausland can just add a few more goals and assists to his game then the Ibrox side could have a real talent on their hands.
