Atlanta is close to tipping off its game against the Miami Heat and the Hawks have just announced their starting five.
The Hawks are going to be starting Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, De’Andre Hunter, Jalen Johnson, and Clint Capela. It is no surprise that this is the starting lineup that Quin Snyder is going with and it has been the best lineup the Hawks have used this season.
The news broke earlier that Jimmy Butler would be missing tonight’s game due to a personal matter. The Heat are going to be missing more than just Butler though. Tyler Herro is out, as is Caleb Martin. Nikola Jovic is available for the Heat tonight and with Butler and Martin out, he figures to play a big role in tonight’s game.
This is a big opportunity for the Hawks to get a win against a division rival that is missing three of its best players, but they can’t take it for granted.
Erik Spoelstra is the best coach in the NBA and he can figure out ways to find a lineup that works tonight against the Hawks.
This will be the first time that the Miami Heat and the Hawks have played since the NBA Play-In Tournament game, which the Hawks won and advanced to the playoffs. The Heat of course went on to the NBA Finals where they lost in five games to the Denver Nuggets.
Where to Watch: NBA League Pass, Bally Sports Southeast
