Rangers are set to face off against Aberdeen in the ViaPlay Scottish League Cup Final – and they’ll have to overcome Bojan Miovski to lift the trophy.
The Gers defeated Hearts 3-1 at Hampden to book their place at the showpiece Scottish League Cup final on December 17th with Aberdeen having defeated Hibs 1-0 no fewer than 24 hours earlier.

And it was Macedonian striker Bojan Miovski who was the Hampden hero for the Dons with the only goal of the game in the controversial victory.
The 24-year-old hitman’s 10th goal of the season, Rangers hero Kris Boyd has been tipping Bojan Miovski to potentially move on to Ibrox.
Next month when Rangers face off against Aberdeen in the League Cup Final, the Ibrox support will hope that they don’t see why.
If Rangers are looking for a new hitman in January then they could do an awful lot worse than making an attempt to sign him,” said Boyd.
“I know, the chances of Aberdeen selling their best player to Gers are highly unlikely. I also reckon Miovski could command a fee of around £5million, and that’s probably a little too rich for Rangers’ blood right now, given the money they spent and wasted this summer.”
Do Rangers need Bojan Miovski?
As Rangers’ form begins to turn under Belgian boss Philippe Clement, the lines about the club’s transfer window not being up to scratch are slowly starting to be rubbed out.
Whilst Rangers are yet to get anything like consistent form from Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers in particular there are shoots of progress in Govan.
Rangers fans also have a new hero in the shape of Brazilian striker Danilo who continues to give the Ibrox support something to sing about.

Whilst Bojan Miovski is certainly turning heads at Aberdeen, we suspect the £5m price tag attached to the striker might be a sizeable turn off to Rangers.
Nonetheless, the Ibrox side are set to get a look at why the likes of Kris Boyd have been tipping the Macedonian to make the move to Glasgow.
With Aberdeen having sealed Michael Beale’s fate with a 3-1 win over Rangers earlier in the season, the club know they’ll have to be at their best to overcome the Dons at Hampden.
