According to a report from Paisley Gates, Gabriel Agbonlahor has implied that Jamal Musiala might be ready to transfer to the Premier League given his continued ties to Liverpool.
The Bundesliga expert and insider Christian Falk told BILD that Bayern Munich would be able to demand £96 million for their top player, so the German international wouldn’t come cheap.
That represents a significant markup for a 20-year-old who was signed in 2019 for a pitiful £174,246 (a compensation fee granted to Chelsea).
Agbonlahor did wonder if the attacking midfielder, who he thinks has the potential to win the Ballon d’Or, would be able to win the sport’s most coveted individual award without moving to a different league.
We might be interested in throwing our hat in the ring for a guy who can file out in midfield and on the left of a front-three, should he become available.
Given his status as a right-footed football player, he’s not precisely what we’d be looking for in a potential Mo Salah replacement, but it would be difficult to turn down the chance to add another absurdly gifted player to our midfield.
Should Bayern want to commit the same error twice in as many years!
