Daniel Farke has confirmed his Leeds United XI to face Huddersfield Town in today’s Yorkshire derby at Elland Road
In order to face Huddersfield Town in the Championship at Elland Road, Daniel Farke has made four changes to his starting lineup for Leeds United. After suffering a 1-0 loss at Stoke City on Wednesday, the Whites will be trying to get back on track this afternoon.
After receiving a rest at the bet365 Stadium, Crysencio Summerville is back in the starting lineup. The Dutchman is playing really well, having just scored two goals in the victory over Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
Dan James returns to the game and will be eager to build on his recent strong performance, while Glen Kamara takes back his position in the middle of the park and appears to be paired with Ethan Ampadu.
Given the amount of time Archie Gray has played recently, the manager had a choice at right-back. He decided to reinstate Jamie Shackleton in the starting lineup to replace the young player. After making his entire debut for the team in midweek, Ilia Gruev is back on the bench. Wilfried Gnonto and Jaidon Anthony are also out. The Whites begin this afternoon’s match lying third in the standings, nine points behind second-place Ipswich Town and fourteen behind leaders Leicester City. Town, on the other hand, are one spot above the drop zone in 21st place and have only won one of their six games under Darren Moore since he took over as manager from Neil Warnock.
