BREAKING NEWS: Texas A&M analyst confirms WR target as potential trade target for Colorado

Rumors are swirling about the possibility of Deion Sanders leaving the Colorado football program to take on the head coaching role for the now-vacant Dallas Cowboys position.

Whether or not this happens, the potential consequences are significant—not just for the Cowboys but for Colorado as well. Graham Harmon of Gig ‘Em Gazette points out a pivotal transfer portal scenario that could shake the Buffaloes if Sanders departs.

“The Aggies could finally bring Drelon Miller home,” Harmon writes.

Recruiting fans will remember Miller as one of Texas A&M’s top targets in the 2024 recruiting class before turmoil in the program led to his decommitment. Miller, along with several other highly-ranked players, chose different paths. If Sanders were to leave Colorado, Miller might also reconsider his commitment to Boulder—potentially setting the stage for the Aggies to land him.

This would be a game-changing addition for Texas A&M, a team looking to bounce back after ending their season with a three-game losing streak to Auburn, Texas, and USC. Miller, a unanimous four-star recruit ranked as the No. 39 player in his class and the ninth-best prospect from Texas, boasts tremendous potential and could make an immediate impact for the Aggies.

The conversation around Sanders’ possible departure extends beyond the coach himself or Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Both programs could see players forced to adjust to a new system—or even leave altogether—as the coaching carousel spins.

As for Drelon Miller, it remains unclear if his decision to stay at Colorado was tied to playing alongside Shedeur Sanders, adding another layer of intrigue to the situation.
