The Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) revealed their Freshman All-America Team on Tuesday, recognizing Alabama freshman Ryan Williams as one of the honorees.
This marks Williams’ fifth All-America accolade, adding to his Freshman All-America selections from On3, Pro Football Focus, and 247Sports, as well as a second-team All-America nod from the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). Additionally, he earned first-team All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) and Freshman All-SEC honors from the coaches, along with second-team All-SEC recognition from the Associated Press.
Williams led Alabama in receiving yards (865) and touchdowns (8) while ranking second on the team with 48 receptions. His eight touchdowns were the second-highest in the SEC and among all Division I freshman receivers.
